Wendy Williams was born and raised in Devon and the beautiful village of Shaldon has been home to Wendy for over twenty-five years.
Wendy discovered her appreciation of fine art at an early age and the passion has remained with her ever since. Pursuing her interest over the years has led to many of the local artists she so admires becoming personal friends.
Following a conventional clerical career in fields such as banking, Wendy now wishes to return to her first love and open her own gallery. 'No16' taken from No 16 Strand, the gallery forms part of Wendy and David's home.
In the summer of 2006 Wendy and husband David opened their door to host a special Exhibition of Work by Rebecca Morch. This was so well received that Wendy was inspired to showcase the wonderful artistic talent that exists here in South Devon on a more permanent basis, and, 'No16 Gallery' was born.
Today, Wendy aims to provide a select choice of originals from local artists with differing subjects, styles and mediums. Signed reproductions of popular works are also available together with a selection of delightful greeting card prints. Visitors can be assured of a warm and personal welcome.
