Rebecca Mørch was born in 1964 in Devon, where she grew up enjoying the wonderful beaches, moors and countryside. She trained and worked as an Occupational Therapist and later a Masseuse. Still in search of her life goals, she then painted and designed products for several companies, including her own business. Finally she became a full time artist, which was fuelled by an art foundation course completed at the age of 18. Her work has sold in galleries and exhibitions in the UK and California and she has had her work published by a Fine Art Publishers.

After a five year break to be a full time mum, Rebecca's art career is developing rapidly with interest from galleries and other companies. Since the summer of 2005, her work has been published by Redmondrian Fine Art Publishers Ltd.

Rebecca's main project over the past year has been the writing and illustration of a children's picture and natural history book called ‘Who Will Save Us?, which is based around her penguin characters. The book is designed for children and their adults. Its aim is to create awareness of the issues relating to climate

change and to promote the positive action that we can all take, to reduce our impact on the wonderful planet on which we live.

Due to Rebecca's life experience and varied career, her work is diverse and deeply founded, reflecting the whole person that she is. Rebecca uses a wide variety of styles in various medium, including bold florals, penguins and amusing animals, contemporary scenery and nudes. There is however a pattern running through her work, which is her attraction to shape, form, pattern and colour, along with her interest in and personal studies of energy, spirit, emotion, behaviour and body posture.
